Its an awesome field that I love a lot! The rules are fair, pricing is really good, the staff are really kind, and the people there are awesome! My only gripe is one staff member was very condensending and expectant of me when I had done something wrong. I am relatively new to airsoft and I didn't know there was a difference between airsoft co2 and airgun co2, and when the staff member found out I had bought airgun co2 he treated me unkindly and like I was a complete bafoon for doing this, even though I had never heard or had know there was a difference. Outside of that it is a wonderful place! I highly recommend going there if you have time!
Unfortunately, this is one of the few paintball fields in Colorado. The fields are decent but not very unique, and the entrance fee is incredibly high at $35. In comparison, I've played at other fields across the country where prices range from $10 to $25, offering equal or better quality in fields and referees.
As for the referees, most of them are good at enforcing rules and organizing games. However, some referees are rudely blunt and impatient. One referee in particular, and older guy with two metal beads in his beard continually displayed a rude attitude over quite frankly nothing, which many of my friends, including myself, find incredibly irritating and a bit of a joy kill. I understand that they're out in the sun and dealing with annoying teens and cheaters all day but in the end, it's what they signed up for and get paid to do.
Reading the reviews, I noticed that the owner disregards others' experiences, especially regarding referees using foul language. In my 12-13 visits, I've seen referees swearing at players SEVERAL times. These ongoing issues are incredibly disappointing, especially considering the limited options in the state. I hope the field can improve its quality, because quite frankly me and several other players are tired of it but truly do wish to see this pace do well.
A great place for a private birthday party for any age from 10 to 60+. The game fields have nice features, and are fun to play. Rental equipment is good, but some of our guns could use a tune up.
The quality of the people on this field is unbelievable, the refs are cool and befriend the regulars, the field layout is awesome with cqb and long range availability, along with 2 stories, a must go to field in Colorado.
Please employees are great. I just kind of wish the brakes were a little longer breaks there. I think if you want a good airsoft experience you should go here
Talk about a great Halloween event! Would definitely come back again just cause the event itself! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future events! Employees are very awesome as well ! Chris is a good dude and a hard worker !
I don't know much about airsoft. I wanted a blow back pistol identical to my real pistol to practice with at home. Jack was very helpful on the phone and in the store. They got me set up with the pistol, mags, and gas at a good price compared to what I had seen online. I have no experience with their field, but I hope to change that.
I have been going to goairheads for close to 9 years now. I really love the field and it's been fantastic to see it grow and change (although I will forever miss the old barn), staff are friendly and helpful, and do their best to recognize regulars and get their names. Refs are fair, but can't see everything, but every time I have had a complaint with a player and told a Ref they have taken care of it quickly and professionally. I understand they are working on expanding their shop size, something that the field would really definitely benefit from, as the current shop is tiny and gets cramped quickly. Seems like they've been doing giveaways almost every weekend recently which is great to see. My only complaints would be there is no rules against spawn camping/push limits which can occasionally make games slog fests that are no fun for anyone, small, but well stocked, store, and I personally would really like to see them add a dedicated CQB arena. I love GoAirheads, and will continue to come to play BB Wars there until the sun burns out.
